The 2027–29 figures will be confirmed after CAT 2026.

Which baby IIM has the lowest CAT cut-off?

IIM Visakhapatnam, with a General-category minimum of 82 percentile overall and 70 in each section.

Can I get a baby IIM call with 85 percentile?

Yes, at some of them. A General male candidate at 85 clears IIM Visakhapatnam’s minimum. Female and transgender candidates also clear the CAP IIMs at 85, and IIM Sambalpur accepts 85 from female candidates and those with 12 or more months of work experience.

Do baby IIMs have sectional cut-offs?

Most do. IIM Sambalpur removed sectional percentile cut-offs for the 2026–28 batch and only requires a positive raw score in each section.

Is the CAP cut-off 95 or 90?

The final CAP 2026 notice sets 90 overall for General (85 for female and transgender candidates), replacing the earlier reference figure of 95.

Conclusion

The Baby IIM cut-off 2026 ranges from 82 to 95 percentile for General candidates, and 90 is the number most institutes use. Aim a few points higher, balance all three sections, and verify the 2027–29 policies once CAT 2026 results are out.
