MAH CET Preparation Tips
Study Schedule
A balanced daily study plan for MAH CET should allocate 1.5–2 hours to Logical Reasoning, as it carries the highest weightage in the exam. Candidates should also dedicate 1.5–2 hours to Quantitative Aptitude and Data Interpretation to strengthen numerical and analytical skills. For Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, around 1 hour of daily practice is recommended to improve reading speed, vocabulary, grammar, and comprehension abilities. Additionally, 30 minutes should be devoted to Abstract Reasoning to enhance pattern recognition and visual reasoning skills. Finally, candidates should spend at least 1 hour on mock tests and performance analysis, as regular testing helps improve speed, accuracy, and time-management skills essential for success in MAH CET.
Mock Test Strategy
Mock tests are an essential part of MAH CET preparation, as the exam requires candidates to solve 200 questions in 150 minutes, making both speed and accuracy critical. Aspirants should start with one mock test per week and gradually increase the frequency to 2–4 mock tests per week as the exam approaches. Taking mocks in a simulated exam environment helps build stamina, improve time management, and develop familiarity with the test format. Equally important is the analysis of each mock test, where candidates should identify weak areas, recurring mistakes, and time-consuming sections. Since MAH CET has no negative marking, aspirants should aim to maximize their attempts while maintaining good accuracy. In the final phase of preparation, mock tests should be used to fine-tune section order, time allocation, and question-selection strategies. Regular mock practice combined with thorough performance analysis enhances confidence, improves speed, and significantly increases the chances of achieving a high percentile.
Exam-Day Tips
Success in MAH CET depends not only on preparation but also on effective time management and a calm approach on the exam day. Reach the examination center well before the reporting time to complete verification and avoid last-minute stress. Carry your admit card, a valid photo ID proof, and any other documents specified in the hall ticket. Electronic devices such as mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, and other prohibited items should not be carried to the exam hall, as they can lead to disqualification. Since the exam consists of 200 questions in 150 minutes, focus on maintaining a steady pace throughout the test. Begin with questions you find easier and avoid spending too much time on any single problem. As there is no negative marking, attempt as many questions as possible, but avoid completely random guessing. Manage your time wisely across all sections and keep a few minutes at the end for reviewing marked questions. Get adequate sleep the night before the exam, eat a light meal, and stay hydrated. Read all on-screen instructions carefully before starting the test and remain confident throughout the examination. A positive mindset, combined with smart time management and accuracy, can significantly improve your MAH CET performance.
