Study Schedule
Begin your preparation at least 4–6 months before the exam. Allocate 1–2 hours daily to Quantitative Aptitude and Logical Reasoning, 45–60 minutes to General English, and 30–45 minutes to General Awareness. Revise weekly, solve previous years’ questions, and take one full-length mock test every week initially, increasing to 2–3 mocks per week in the final month.
Mock Test Strategy
Take one mock test every week during the initial preparation phase and gradually increase the frequency as the exam approaches. Analyze every mock to identify weak areas, improve speed and accuracy, and revise frequently asked topics. Practice section-wise tests along with full-length mocks under timed conditions.

Negative Marking Awareness
There is no negative marking in SET. Candidates should attempt all questions to maximize their score.
Exam-Day Tips
Reach the examination centre well before the reporting time with your admit card and valid photo ID. Read all instructions carefully before starting the test. Attempt easy questions first, avoid spending too much time on difficult ones, and manage your time effectively across all sections. Since there is no negative marking, make sure to answer every question before submitting the paper.
Stay calm, maintain accuracy, and review your responses if time permits.
SET Counselling Process
After the declaration of the SET 2027 result, Symbiosis International (Deemed University) does not conduct centralized counselling. Each participating institute independently releases its shortlist and admission schedule. Candidates must complete programme registration (if applicable), participate in the institute-specific selection process wherever required, upload documents, pay the admission fee, and confirm their admission before the deadline.
The final admission is granted only after successful document verification and fulfillment of the eligibility criteria.
