XAT

To appear for the XAT exam, candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree of at least 3 years duration from a recognized university or institution. Students who are in the final year of their graduation are also eligible to apply, provided they complete their degree within the prescribed timeline. XAT does not specify any minimum percentage requirement for appearing in the examination, and candidates from all academic backgrounds including Science, Commerce, Arts, Engineering, and Management can apply. There is also no age limit for taking the XAT exam. Indian candidates can apply through XAT scores, while NRI and foreign candidates may apply through GMAT scores for selected XLRI programmes. Additionally, candidates must carefully check the eligibility criteria of individual colleges accepting XAT scores, as admission requirements may differ from one institute to another.

The cutoff for XAT refers to the minimum percentile or score required by a candidate to qualify for admission into MBA and PGDM programmes offered by XLRI and other participating management institutes.
