Given info that is important for starting positions are:

D occupies chair 2 after Turn1, in which only A moves. This means this chair 2 is D’s initial position that will remain same after Turn1.

C occupies chair 7 after Turn2, till which only A&B have moved. This means this chair 7 is C’s initial position that will remain same after Turn2, as C moves in Turn3.

For B as well as D, there are empty chairs on either side of the chairs that are sitting on.
